Random blood sugar (RBS) measures blood glucose levels done at any time of the day. RBS is done ussually in case of emergency, or when a person feels hypoglycemic i.e low on sugar or in a state of unconsiousness. Several random measurements may be taken throughout the day. Normal: < 140 mg/dl. Prediabetes: 140–199 mg/dl. Diabetes: >=200 mg/dl
